Rotating Right Angle Mount

Our new Rotating Right Angle adapter permits viewing at 90º to the optical axis of your lens and camera. It adapts to the front end of any camera lens and is securely oriented in any direction with a locking thumbscrew.

The RA034 (top image) is available from stock for lenses with filter threads up to M46, is adapted to smaller lenses by use of step-up rings, and can easily accommodate one or more filters. Larger lenses (M46 and above) require a different type of right angle attachment, the RA060, which consists of a first-surface mirror mounted at a 45º angle inside an aluminum housing with rotating base.

The Rotating Right Angles are ideal for use with telecentric lenses which are often too long for tight spaces. Images captured through these mounts are undistorted even at high magnification.

NOTE: The RA034 increases the optical working distance by approximately 1/2" (11mm).
